Some parents got an unwelcomed surprise when they purchased a popular toy for their little ones this holiday season.
According to BuzzFeed, Hasbro’s Play-Doh Cake Mountain set has been stirring up some negative attention from parents who are upset with the way one of its parts, which Play-Doh coined the ‘extruder,’ resembles something quite phallic.
Recently Facebook and Twitter lit up with posts and tweets from shocked and concerned parents who had purchased the toy.

Many also pointed out that Play-Doh was deleting many photos and comments which they received on their Facebook page.

A news station in Tulsa, KTUL, reached out to Hasbro, who made this statement to them:
“We have heard some consumer feedback about the extruder tool in the Play-Doh Cake Mountain play set and are in the process of updating all future Play-Doh products with a different tool,” it read.
Parents were shown the new replacement part, which was sent to Tulsa’s Channel 8 by the company, and they approved.
Hasbro said any customers who purchased the toy and would like the replacement part to call them at 800-327-8264.
I salute the designers who somehow managed to get this Play-Doh icing maker past their bosses. http://t.co/cRCnsEMmmo pic.twitter.com/0aQMtJS9Wi
